The Fight for Joy Fight the good fight of faith. 1Ti 6:12  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Joh 15:11   And your joy no man taketh from you. Joh 16:22  What Remains Joy is deep. It is not happiness, that fluttering of wild mirth. Joy is high, it stirs the soul, it pierces the spirit, it settles finally into a halcyon contentment. On another level joy pans into wisdom, of which Job struggled to catch in chapter 28. “What is wisdom?” he poses, before he plunges into that shimmering poetics. There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen : The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. Job 28:7 -8 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?  Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. Being Drunk with the Good Wine! Son 5:1   I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.  This is where I let my mind roam. Please bear with me. It’s love! Christ, the light, wisdom, power and salvation of the world! Rom 8:31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
